Felipe Gregorio relocates to Miami, opens new retail site

Philip Wynne, founder and president of Felipe Gregorio, Inc., has annou-nced the move of the company’s headquarters from Alexan-dria, Va., to Miami. Wynne relocated the facilities and inventory to a newly constructed office and warehouse in October, but the opening was delayed until November by Hurricane Wilma.

“After fifteen years of company growth,” said Wynne, “this move positions us closer to our factories in Central America and the Caribbean, which saves travel time and expense. Our new 5,000-square-foot office and warehouse have capacity for substantial growth in sales, enabling us to maintain good delivery schedules.”

Wynne also announced the January opening of a new Felipe Gregorio retail store at 900 SW 8th St. in the old Calle Ocho district of Little Havana in Miami.

“Cuban-American cigar-makers lined the streets of Calle Ocho in the past and we are proud to be one of the first cigar companies to move back into this historic area,” said Wynne.

The 2,000-square-foot shop will feature a complete inventory of Felipe Gregorio products and an outdoor smoking area. A wine bar is planned for the future.

“Our new store will offer factory-direct bargains on special selections of Felipe Gregorio cigars, but the furnishings will be anything, but a warehouse-style factory outlet,” said Wynne.
